PinIt Travel Memories (“PinIt”, “we”, “us”) is designed to help you save and organise your travel memories. This policy explains the information used by the app and how it is handled.
Information you provide
PinIt may process account information, trips, travel memories, notes, dates, locations and photos that you choose to add. Location access is used when you ask PinIt to help place a travel memory. Photo access is used when you choose images to attach to a memory.
Account and authentication
Authentication and app data are handled using third-party infrastructure providers used by PinIt. Sign-in options may include Apple and Google. Those providers process information according to their own privacy policies.
Subscriptions
PinIt+ purchases on iOS are processed by Apple. Subscription status may be managed through RevenueCat so the app can determine whether premium features are available. PinIt does not receive your full payment card details.
Public sharing
Travel data is private unless you explicitly create a public share link. Anyone who has an active public link may be able to view the information included in that shared snapshot. You can make a supported share private again from the app.
Data storage and security
We use reasonable technical safeguards and encrypted network connections to protect information in transit. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Your information is retained while needed to provide the service. Where available in the app, you may request account deletion. Some information may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes.
Children
PinIt is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent required by applicable law.
Changes
We may update this policy as PinIt evolves. The latest version will be published on this page.
